For more than thirty years Ann King has traveled and lived around the world studying color, ornamental textiles, tent history, interior design, architecture and traditional handwork in a wide variety of cultures.

King’s color expertise is strongly influenced by studying world cultures firsthand and from her many years of designing textiles. She holds a certificate in Color Design from Leatrice Eiseman, one of the leading experts in the field. King has studied interior design privately with Nora Taylor, a founding member of NWSID and is herself a design member of the Northwest Society of Interior Designers, Seattle, Washington.
